Not a caricature, but...
My former employer hired me (and my lovely wife) to paint a London telephone booth on the door of the employee entrance. When I put my two weeks in, the CEO asked me, "You are still going to paint the door, right?" So we spent 10 hours on Saturdays knocking this out for him.
